Dois irmãos, Frank (Richard Gere) e Terry (Kevin Anderson), herdam a fazenda de seu pai, mas, cheia de dívidas com um banco, ela acaba sendo hipotecada e confiscada. Quando eles tocam fogo no banco e fogem, são vistos como heróis, enquanto são perseguidos pela polícia.

O compositor Robert Folk trabalhou em "Ace Ventura 2: Um Maluco na África" (1995), "O Ataque dos Vermes Malditos" (1990) e "Loucademia de Polícia" (1984).
