Enquanto grava o som para um filme de terror de baixo orçamento, um engenheiro de som captura inadvertidamente o acidente de carro de um candidato à presidência. Enquanto tenta descobrir a verdade com uma testemunha-chave, ele se vê envolvido em uma conspiração mortal. 

O compositor Pino Donaggio trabalhou em "Inverno de Sangue em Veneza" (1973), "Carrie, A Estranha" (1976), "Vestida para Matar" (1980) e "Pele Nua" (1985).
