Um criminoso magnata chamado Goldfinger (Gert Fröbe) pretende destruir uma reserva de ouro americana. Com a ajuda da secretária Jill (Shirley Eaton), o agente 007 (Sean Connery) se infiltra para tentar interromper o ataque.
