Filme de Woody Allen é um clássico do cinema
Um escritor de meia-idade divorciado (Woody Allen) está no meio de vários dilemas. O primeiro é a publicação de um livro de sua ex-namorada (Meryl Streep) que conta muito sobre a relação dos dois; o segundo é a paixão que tem por uma jovem de 17 anos (Mariel Hemingway); o terceiro é a atração puramente sexual pela amante de seu melhor amigo.
A trilha sonora foi composta toda por George Gershwin (1898 - 1937) ao longo de sua carreira, mas as canções ganharam novas interpretações por parte dos convidados.
